Watch folder on NAS
  • Airtime newest version is running on Ubuntu Desktop. On the Desktop-PC a 1 TB HDD is running for airtime.
But i collecting all audio on an NAS (Qnap TS409Pro).

So, how can i let airtime watch the folder on my NAS?

With Ubuntu i can connect to my NAS, can install a hot-link on my desktop. But this one will not found by airtime.
    Ubuntu is 12.04.

  • Do you have a permanent mount in fstab? or are you mounting on demand.

  • I will try it again: airtime runs on desktop under ubuntu dektop 12.04.

I reached my NAS over Network folder in ubuntu desktop. So, i can listen or grap some files, but if i used to find the NAS with airtime, i only see the linux-system tree.

Must i yet going the way you discribed, with fstab, or is there a easer way to solve my problems?

    THX again...
