I can't see my uploaded theme

    Hello!

    I just tried to upload the Quetzal theme but although I saw the "import successful" message, I can't see it where all the themes show up...what could be happening.

    any help appreciated.

    Hi Claudia,

    it is under configuration. You also have to adjust renditions in a
    second step.

    Hi Eva! thanks a lot but the thing is I can't even load the theme.  I have tried several times.  As I understood in the link, that rendering is once the theme is applied to a publication, but as I'm saying...I can't even load it.

    this is what I'm doing:
    1. download the theme's zip here:  http://www.sourcefabric.org/en/newscoop/theme/
    2. go to my instance (hosted with you)
    3. go to configure>themes>import theme
    4. I see it uploading
    5. I see the message "loading successful"
    6....the theme never shows up...

    meh.

    did you take for your version?

    those that you can do so


    2 - Download the theme taken from (http://www.sourcefabric.org/en/newscoop/download/)
    in "themes/publication_1/theme_1 / or other
    instead of the current theme

    and now you have your new layout

    Hi Claudia, if it does not show up in the 'Available themes' tab, there is a problem with either the theme file or your server. Can you upload other themes? Try this one:

    http://files.sourcefabric.org/newscoop/themes/The_Stun.zip

    I had the same problem. I assigned one of the other themes to my publication. Then I logged in to FTP and downloaded my imported theme from the folder with unassigned themes and uploaded the files to the theme that was assigned to the publication. From that publication in the themes configuration in the admin page, I could then copy the new theme to the list of available themes.

    There is now an extra copy of the same theme in the unassigned themes folder. The difference between them is that the first one had a folder with the files in. I could probably just have moved everything up one level instead.
