I'm a new airtime user, I deployed airtime in a vps and it's really AWESOME, the web interface is incredible well done, and the installation process, well, I love it, the system where I installed is a:
Ubuntu 12.04.2 machine with 2GB of ram Airtime 2.4.0
I already was able to create shows and go on-air for a couple of times, however I've noticed that airtime doesn't broadcast all my mp3 files, for example if I upload and try to shedule the following mp3:
2013/06/30 23:25:50 [decoder.mad:3] File "/var/tmp/airtime/pypo/cache/scheduler/1.mp3" has an incompatible number of channels. 2013/06/30 23:25:50 [decoder:3] Unable to decode "/var/tmp/airtime/pypo/cache/scheduler/1.mp3" as {audio=2;video=0;midi=0}!
The OnAir button also go gray (instead of red). If I put before and after this other mp3, airtime will broadcaste this one, then fail and broadcast silence during the time that last the above song and then again will broadcast the following mp3
Thanks for your reply, re downloading and uploading the file fixes the issue, however I'm a little bit worried that any other song could fail, the original song (the one attached in the above comment) played in my computer, and also played with the 'sample' button in airtime. I uploaded it using the web interface.
Maybe I should add a policy for new songs to make sure they contain no errors, do you know such a tool? (maybe ffmpeg?)
