No browser update on connection loss
  • Hi All,
I use airtime to connect to remotely from home to broadcast a show to our main radio station. It all works really well, but the other day I had a loss of internet for no reason. Not blaming airtime for that :), but when the internet was lost I of course stopped streaming, but in the airtime browser window it didn't update and happy told me I was still streaming and was on air. I imagine the reason is that the website cannot update the browser without an internet connection. My question (finally) is: is it possible to get the browser to somehow poll the connection to make sure that the info displayed is current, and to alert the user to a loss of connection when it happens? A bit of javascript should do the trick.

    Good point!
We have an Airtime-Status-Monitor in our Local Studio for the mods.
Sometimes this session "runs out" and it doesnt update current infos anymore.

Just go for the bugtracker dev.sourcefabric.org and open a ticket.
