[solved] Airtime Not Installing In Software Center

    UPDATE: I took the risk, closed software center, download gdebi, and all is well.

    Hey all,

    I downloaded airtime easy-setup in my LXDE GUI and used the ubuntu software center to install it.  However, it gets only a quarter of the way through... and then just idles.  No errors, no messages, just unsettling stillness.  I'm hesitant to close the software center and retry... or try using the command line, as I have read of people having issues trying to install airtime when they have a partially installed version that isn't erased (full disclosure: I'm new at Linux, but can be resourceful if need be).  

    I'm wondering if anyone has any idea why this might be happening and what I should do to remedy it:

    - will closing software center and retrying just cause problems?
    - If so, how do I find and remove a partial install?
    - is the easy-setup install available from the command line?

    I appreciate any help in advance.  You all have been mighty helpful so far, and it's much appreciated.
