Migrate airtime database to new server - Airtime Support Discussions on Sourcefabric Forum

Hello everyone,

I would like to move my Airtime server to a new hosted server. I have set up the server, installed Airtime and configured Icecast. I have already copied all the sound files across.

Is there any way that I can extract bits of the database so I don't have to set up all my scheduling and playlists etc. again?

The new server has a different FQDN so I'm guessing I can't just backup the db from one server and restore to the new one?

That won't tell me what tables need to be backed up and restored though, will it? Excuse my ignorance, I'm just trying to backup and restore only the necessary scheduling and playlist information, not the whole database. Or am I making things too complicated?
