Hi everyone

perhaps did you find your airtime slow to answer ?
be default apache have a minimalist config

you can change that in your apache.conf

search this lines :

<IfModule mpm_prefork_module>
    StartServers          5
    MinSpareServers       5
    MaxSpareServers      10
    MaxClients          150
    MaxRequestsPerChild   0
</IfModule>

# prefork MPM
# StartServers: number of server processes to start
# MinSpareServers: minimum number of server processes which are kept spare
# MaxSpareServers: maximum number of server processes which are kept spare
# MaxClients: maximum number of server processes allowed to start
# MaxRequestsPerChild: maximum number of requests a server process serves

One config a server (3Go Ram, Core i3)

<IfModule mpm_prefork_module>
    StartServers          10
    MinSpareServers       10
    MaxSpareServers      30
    MaxClients          250
    MaxRequestsPerChild   1000
</IfModule>

and change this values

for more informations you can search on google

Albert,

Try installing package php-apc. It had huge gains in performance on our Raspberry Pi (10x).

Martin! You should consider adding Apache (and any other missing heavy-lifters) to the Service list under System>Status.

Perhaps Apache and Postgresql.

Only problem is that Apache can be replaced by any other webserver, so we'd have to detect this. Also postgresql could be on a remote server meaning that we wouldn't be able to monitor it.
