Metadata from Master Source

I am using Papaya (iOS) https://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/papaya-broadcaster/id366266882?mt=8 to connect via Master Source - it connects fine and goes live from the mobile, but does not pickup the metadata for the live broadcast - it continues to update metadata from the scheduled source. This is a problem as the widget does not show that there is a live broadcast - but a scheduled broadcast. Is there something I am missing that needs to be configured to allow for this. This also happens with NiceCast http://www.rogueamoeba.com/nicecast/
