"Book does not exist" error on new Ubuntu install [fixed]
  • I am trying to evaluate Booktype, so I created a local setup. It works fine -- except I cannot create new books. I get the error "Book does not exist" whenever I create a book, but the log shows no errors (so it's tough to debug) and everything else seems to work. Suggestions? I am running Booktype from the latest Github version (I cloned from the repo).

    Edit: fixed.

The fix is to install the licenses before creating any books:

    django-admin.py loaddata documentation_licenses

Have you installed the renderer Objavi?

You are also welcome to join the dev list if you are looking at dev/testing:
