Can not connect to the streaming server could not write data to host: Broken pipe in write() AirTime

    What does this error message means:

    "Can not connect to the streaming server
    could not write data to host: Broken pipe in write() AirTime"

    I've got it when I System/Streams/Output Stream Settings (see attached picture).

    You may have incorrect settings (host, port, username, password) for your Icecast server. Are you using the default settings from the Airtime install?

    Try these First

    • Read your Icecast logs

    • Try install the stock Icecast

    • sudo apt-get purge Icecast2 && sudo apt-get install Icecast2

    • Re enter the settings information

    • restart your ls_script after

    If that failed

    • pico /var/log/airtime/pypo-liquidsoap/ls_script.log
    • If this log is not created try create it
    • touch /var/log/airtime/pypo-liquidsoap/ls_script.log
    • make it writeable   chmod a+w /var/log/airtime/pypo-liquidsoap/ls_script.log
    • You might want to give pypo permission
    If that failed you might have to just reinstall
