Problem With airtime-liquidsoap

    Hello, 
    Thanks for The Great System,, 
    Im having a Problem here, 
    im running a 24hrs Radio Station with Airtime System, 
    Suddenly & from Time to time am getting Radio OFF, No thing is running !!
    When i go to Airtime control panel to check the problem, 
    i find that On Air is not red and when checking Status i find Liquidsoap with red disabled icon,
    After Some time I get Streaming working again and after some hours or days i may have problem again and so on, '
    Is there a solution for all that ?

    check log file at /var/log/airtime/pypo-liquidsoap folder

    you can find in the log a lot of connection to icecast errors:
    2012/06/01 01:30:41 [airtime_64:2] Error while sending data: could not write data to host: Broken pipe in write()!


    It means you have poor network connection between airtime box and icecast server. Consult with your local ISP

    Please revise it again, 
    as i tried to add new stream line airtime_642, Rebooted server, restarted airtime-playout, changed permission of liquidsop.cfg to 644 ... while trying to find solutions, May be that changes Affected the problem ?

    or its Poor Network Connection Makes Liquidsoap Disabled ?

    I just opened a new ticket to my VPS Hosting Company, 
    Asking them about The poor network Coinnection 
    They replied that no any problems with Connection, & my service is running perfect without any issues, 
    I just refreshed, and now still having nothing played and airtime-liquidsoap is disabled.. 
    when am trying to go to Icecast server status i can find nothing,
    please help, Radio is completely OFF !

    if airtime and icebox are running on same vps then try to change ip address of icecast server to 127.0.0.1

    I had everything running perfect untill yesterday,
    I didnt do anything, not changes, suddenly tried to listen and there is nothing streaming !

    Please just tell me more on how to change icecast server ip ? can i do it via terminal console ?

    Any Help would be appreciated to get Airtime running again

    Another Problem Now, I just can't login to Control Panel, 
    Everytime i put username and password, I got nothing except for login page, 
    Although minutes ago i was able to login to control panel !

    Ok, 
    i figured the problem out, 
    I just checked Disk Space, and found that all 40GB is FULL with no Free Space, 
    Airtime is scheduling MP3's and duplicate files while takes more and more space, 
    on this vps am just running Airtime with nothing else 
    Thats Why I cant login to Control Panel, 

    Im not really interested in Airtime Pro at this moment, 
    I just need to know how to solve liquid-soap problem 
    Can u please let me know and help me 
    i did provide you with all log files u requested

    Liquidsoap is still Disabled, On Air not Red Yet !

    ok some how liquidsoap is not starting at all.
    So let's try to run it manually and see what happen.
    Please run this command:

    /usr/lib/airtime/pypo/bin/liquidsoap_bin/liquidsoap /usr/lib/airtime/pypo/bin/liquidsoap_scripts/ls_script.liq

    and post output.

    That was one command and append "sudo" in front.

    sudo /usr/lib/airtime/pypo/bin/liquidsoap_bin/liquidsoap /usr/lib/airtime/pypo/bin/liquidsoap_scripts/ls_script.liq

    There is your problem. Somehow you don't have liquidsoap binary file anymore.
    What files are under /usr/lib/airtime/pypo/bin/liquidsoap_bin ?

    Well if the file is there then you should be able to run that file. Not sure why you get command not found.
    Can you access the folder from the terminal?

    It is possible that the binary does not have the correct permissions to execute. You can check this with ls -l in a terminal window.

    Liquidsoap in Airtime Status is still Offline & On Air is not yet Red,
    Please Help on How to reactivate liquidsoap to reconnect to icecast,
    when am trying to reach icecast page for ths status and current song ip:8000
    i get nothing just the menu bar with no information
    is there any steps i can do to get airtime running again ?

    From the output i can see both of files are not excutable nor readable.
    Please set the mode to 755 on liqudsoap binary file and 644 on ls_script.liq file.
    You need to also change the ownership of liquidsoap binary file to pypo.

    Another question please
    I got this directory /var/tmp/airtime/pypo/cache/scheduler filled with tons of GB everyday !
    Im running Airtime on 40GB VPS
    Within this directory I got no free space every one or two days, so i need to delete folders myself to make it work.
    can i disable that function that creates tons of mp3 files with alot of GBs in this directory ?

    chown pypo:pypo /path/to/liquidsoap_file. I'm not sure exactly what the problem is however and why you need to do this?

    As for the /var/tmp/airtime/pypo/cache/scheduler, you should be able to edit /etc/airtime/pypo.cfg to control how long files should be kept in cache. In Airtime 2.0, I believe the default was 24 hours.
