airtime installing help

    hey staff

    after i was done installing the airtime-easy-setup package

    i tried to go this next step

    Install Airtime



    Once the installation of airtime-easy-setup has completed, you can install the latest Airtime package on a desktop system using your usual package manager, such as Ubuntu Software Center, or Synaptic on Debian.

    but the package was not the ubuntu software center when i tried to search for it on my ubuntu os using vmware workplace

    so what am i doing wrong then

    Have you tried 

    "sudo apt-get update" from the command-line?

    If it still doesn't appear in the Software Centre, than you can simply type "sudo apt-get install airtime".

    I just tried the debian package on a fresh install of 12.04, and am having the same problem. Will try to get this resolved ASAP.

    Airtime isn't supported on CentOS.  Also we charge for installation services.

    i know nothing about linux lanuage at all

    even when i try to setup this airtime on my own

    i get very anxious because its hard for me to set it up on my own

    so is there anyway you guys make me a automatic install script for me then

    it would be much easier if you guys made this airtime setup much easier for people to setup on there servers okay

    because its really hard for me to setup on my own servers okay

    Hi Bobby, 

    There is a simple install script, you only need to go to our download page to get it. As for the OS, we only support Debian and Ubuntu at the moment. We are also experiencing some troubles with Precise Pangolin and our debian package (although this should be resolved soon).

    maybe you should reach out to community and someone can help you out? We don't provide such services free of charge and our developers are very busy with developing Airtime.
