Hi,

Since airtime 2.0.2, I have this error when I try to stream another stream

any idea ?

in this case the liquidsoap package is broken too

I just quickly checked there were no changes at all made to Liquidsoap version or the Liquidsoap scripts for 2.0.2. It must be something else.

but the liquidsoap used in airtime is packaged by sourcefabric
they do the same error ?

So if I get it right, in the repos the liquidsoap 1.0.0 is included without the necessary liquidsoap-plugin-lame. That wouldn't cause an issue in ubuntu 11.10 or later, but on 11.04, where the universe repos only have the liquidsoap 0.9.2 this causes the liquidsoap server to be unable to handle lame correctly.

This can be seen here:

Unfortunately dowloading the deb from oneiric does not work as well:
liquidsoap-plugin-lame depends on liquidsoap (= 1.0.0~beta3+repack1-1); however: Version of liquidsoap on system is 1.0.0~natty~sfo-6

So is the only solution to manually compile it?

Same applies to 10.04 as you can see here
The plugins are in the repo only for distros that include liquidsoap >=1.0.0
Our distros are officially at 0.9.2 so we cannot install them via apt-get

I'm not sure if that ticket is truly the cause of this issue since Albert says he had it working before Airtime 2.0.2.

Also, we distribute our own Liquidsoap binaries with MP3 support compiled in.

Albert, you say this problem only occurs when you try to rebroadcast an input stream?

yes, only when I try to rebroadcast an input stream
but when I do upgrade to 2.0.2 liquidsoap was a part of the upgrade (i'm almost sure)

It's perhaps a compilation problem of liquidsoap
I can install it manually, but it's not a good thing to do on production machine...

You can install the latest liquidsoap binaries using sourcefabrics repo. Our repo is automatically added if you use the "easy-setup" installation. You can add our repo manually as well, instructions are here:

and apt-get update doesn't show me a new version of liquidsoap :/
