Scheduled Playlist Issue - Airtime Support Discussions on Sourcefabric Forum

We loaded up a playlist with a 58:50 show (60 minute block) and then a 1:12 filler piece at the end of that show. The playout completely ignored the 1:12 filler.

It also did it in the next scheduled 30 minute event with a 29:10 show followed by :54 filler.

Dead air is killer.

was the 1:12 filler piece in the same playlist as the 58:50 show? or in a separate playlist by itself?

Same, I don't see that you can make that short of a playlist.

and the 58:50, that was all recorded in one file? Or 58:50 of other tracks in that same playlist?

I set up a 60 minute calendar event titled Democracy Now.

Uploaded the track, and created a Democracy Now playlist containing 2 track as follows:

Democracy Now (59:14.3)

Dub Machine (0:48.1) <-- Filler Track in the Democracy Now playlist)

Total run time 1:00:02.4

It creates dead air between shorter tracks and caused the backup stream to kick in before the next playlist began.
