airtime 2.0 install woes

    Hello

    Have suffered problems with 1.9 so decided to move to 2.0.

    When I run "apt-get install airtime" I receive the following error and the web interface lists all services as having not started:

    * Waiting for show-recorder processes to start...
    Stopping Airtime Show Recorder: Done.
    Starting Airtime Show Recorder: Done.
     * Stopping daemon monitor monit                                         [ OK ]
     * Starting daemon monitor monit                                         [fail]
    dpkg: error processing airtime (--configure):
     subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1
    Errors were encountered while processing:
     airtime
    E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

    Any ideas gratefully received.

    Solved.

    If anyone else runs in to this, turned out that I had to delete the old /etc/monit directory as it interfered with the airtime install.

    After removing /etc/monit, airtime installed fine.

    Hi Jason,

    I was coming here to suggest just this. Are you running Ubuntu Lucid? It seems that this problem with monit occurs only on this Ubuntu version.
