Best way to create a specific URL redirect in Newscoop?

    Hello,

    In Newscoop 3.5.3, I have other sites linking to a Newscoop publication issue which no longer exists, but I want to make sure there are no 404 errors. What's the best way to create a redirect page to return a specific new page for a specific old URL, rather than using a general redirect for all missing pages? Do I have to re-create the old issue and section, with a manual forwarding link?

    If it is a few (types of) redirects, I would put rewrite rules into htaccess.

    Hi Martin, thanks for the tip! If it was just one URL to redirect, is there any way to do this within the admin interface, like creating a URL alias for the new page?
