unfortunately, this is not possible to do with current version of
Campsite, every user must have a valid user account in order to post
notes.
we are now working on our next release, Campsite 3.0, which will be a
100% PHP system and use Smarty-based template engine. this way, it
will be easier to implement all this kind of reasonable features.

I would try to workaround it by setting default anonymous user and in
the beginning set templates to log him in automatically.
