[campsite-support] Two bugs and a feature request
  • Hi

I've discovered two bugs in the template language.

First if the issue is not set doesn't work. It works
if you use http://www.camsite-site.org/en/issue1/ but not using just
    http://www.camsite-site.org/en/

Second, returns true even if the
translation has status submitted, not published. So the site thinks
there's a translation but you can't access it (and shouldn't be able
to). In this case it should return false.

These bugs are in campsite 2.6.7 but they weren't mentioned in the
changelog for 2.6.8 so I suspect they're there as well.

And the feature suggestion, it would be really good to be able to do
    something like which would then
strip the html from the printed article. The best use of this would be
in conjunction with first_paragraph. We've had several problems with
that option when paragraphs have looked like this:

    First bold line

    second bold line

    or even just:

    First paragraph

In both these cases the rest of the page under that article will be bold.

    /Erik

  • Hi Erik,

I fixed the two bugs you found. Campsite 2.6.9 will contain these fixes.

Regarding the feature you want you'll have it in Campsite 3.0, due in 2
    months.

    Thank you for your help,
    Mugur
