  • Please make sure the directive NameVirtualHost was inserted before declaring
    virtual hosts:

    NameVirtualHost *

    Check if apache listens on the port 80:

    Listen 80

    Check if another virtual host with the same name (192.168.10.1) already
    exists.

    What message did you receive in the browser window when you tried to access
    http://192.168.10.1?

  • Adding NamedVirtualHost * solved the problem of accessing site, but generated errors on Apache2 restart. Details in my thread
