Repo Upgrade problem
  • Hi,

On one server the upgrade from 1.8.2 to 1.9.4-9 looks fine.

On another 1.8.2 server I got:

Both had been installed with the 1.8.2 package originally and have all the Ubunutu Lucid updates.

  • Hi Jeremy,

We were able to recreate this issue a few hours ago. It seems to be related to a race-condition with ext4 filesystems. We are looking into this, and will have a fix asap.

In the meantime, the workaround is to type

    sudo apt-get install python-virtualenv

    and then run the install.

  • Thanks. I did that but it tells me the latest python-virtualenv is installed and then tries to finish the airtime install stopping at the same point again.

Is there a log somewhere with more detailed info?

  • Hi Jeremy,

This is an issue related to the first one (race condition). Please do the following:

    sudo rm -rf "/usr/lib/airtime/airtime_virtualenv"

and then try the install again.

  • Thanks that was it!

  • In my installation on Debian 6 shows the following message in the end, the network installation, even following their recommendations posted above. In the previous version had no errors! Is there solution for this or should I wait for a new update?

  • I again simulate the installation of all the options tested and post the errors here.
