LiquidSoap soft restart?

    Hi,
    in a hope there are LiquidSoap gurus wandering here from time to time, I'll dare to ask:

    is there a way to make LiquidSoap re-read/reload the script it's running, whithout nulling IceCasts's counters of MaxUsers per mounting point?

    Our 24/7 station runs AirTime for scheduled shows, and still relies on a LiquidSoap custom script, that runs routine things like music and a grid of announces/jingles, when AirTime is idle.

    To gain better financing we want to show our sponsors the highest peaks of simultaneous listeners that we eventually had. However each time we alter the LS script and restart LiquidSoap to make it load the new config, these numbers are reset to 0 : (

    Any advice on IceCast2 / LiquidSoap tricks is very welcome!

    Unfortunately, I'm not aware of a way to do this. Try subscribing to their mailing list and asking about this.

    There are a number of icecast statistics packages out there that should be
    able to help you, try searching on google for them.
