Can't use watch folders on 1.9.1 ?
  • Hi !

I've successfuly installed Airtime 1.9.1, thanks to users of this forum for their topics, it helped me a lot !

Before studying live session configuration, I'd like to setup watch folders.

I have several folders on our website (sorted by genres, eg : /var/www/clients/client3/web4/web/downloads/JUNGLE - DRUM AND BASS/) but when I add those as watch folders, I don't see files appearing in Playlist Builder.

I've trying to set folders and files to www-data:www-data permission, but still nothing (it is natively client3:web4 because I'm using ISPConfig on Debian Squeeze).

    Uploading a file works OK.

Everything is setup OK : I can stream uploaded files by setting a playlist and a show.

    Any idea ?

    Thanks a lot.

  • I made a test creating a folder /airplay and copying files from my webserver in it : works flawlessly.

It must be a permission setting.

Which user media manager does use to browse folders ?

    Thanks,

We have identified a bug in 1.9.0 and 1.9.1 where watched directories are no
longer watched after a reboot. This issue will be fixed in 1.9.2.
