    Newscoop 3.6 RC1 is out now for testing following great work by the Newscoop development team. RC means release candidate - it's the bridge between a beta and a full release, so it's more stable than a beta but not quite the finished product.

    And that's where you come in!

    We'd love for you to download and test Newscoop with us to help get the final release ready. To get started, visit the Newscoop wiki and follow the install instructions.

    There's quite a few new features - theme management, improved geolocation tools, new user permissions screens.
