BACKUP in the GUI

    when i do a fresh install of the newscoop, and then i download one of the themes that you have made for it.. I copy the tar file to the backup directory and then it shows up in the backup list. I hit restore and it always hangs up on "can't delete placeholder in the images foler, so I delete that myself and rerun it, then it always hangs up on
    Unable to copy file/dir backup-newscoop-2011-05-05-08-57-02/templates to /srv/www/htdocs/newscoop

    I am running that as root, I really don't know what else I can do. Any ideas?

    apache server is running under own user (www-data or apache - depends on distro)
    add write permissions on root instance folder and backup folder for this user
