Airtime 1.9 beta issues
  • Hi guys,

thanks for the latest awesome release. I just installed 1.9 beta from the tarball manually and imported my database from airtime 1.8.1 but I have some errors:

    1) I followed the installation procedure here:

    http://wiki.sourcefabric.org/display/CC/Installing+Airtime+% 28v1.9.0-beta1%29

but I had some trouble with monit:

    sudo service monit start
Starting daemon monitor: empty config, please edit /etc/monit/monitrc.

so I copied airtime-monit.cfg to /etc/monit/monitrc too and then it seemed to work.

    2) I added my details to the Support section of the Preferences in the browser, but after importing my database of shows, I had to enter them again and only have "D" or "S" as country options!

    (see attached screenshot)

    3) Clicking Manage Music Folders in the browser results in the following message:

    An error occurred
    Application error

    (see attached screenshot)

    4) There's an error with the airtime-import command:

     sudo airtime-import -c Music/Amarok/Mouse\ on\ Mars/Radical\ Connector/*
    [sudo] password for james:
    ========================
    Airtime Import Script
    ========================
PHP Fatal error: Class 'CcFilesQuery' not found in /var/www/airtime/application/models/StoredFile.php on line 498

maybe some of these errors are caused by importing the old database? If so, how can import the schedule/calendar?

    thanks

  • Hi James,

Thanks for the bug reports! Will file these as tickets.

As for airtime-import, that script should have been removed, there are 3 ways to import your file now:
    -upload via web ui
    -copy files to /srv/airtime/stor
-add a watched directory via configure->Manage Music Folders

Let us know if you find anything else Smile

  • Hi Martin,

    thanks for the info.

I did a reinstall of airtime 1.9 beta and now have the following issues:

    1) Upload via web ui works fine, but copying files to /srv/airtime/stor or adding a watched directory doesn't work.

    2) Existing files in the database (shows that have been recorded or uploads via web ui) cannot be edited or deleted from the browser (there is no response after clicking the file).

    3) Changing metadata manually via CLI or deleting files in /srv/airtime/stor is not reflected in the Playlist Builder.

    4) Files in the Playlist Builder cannot be added to a playlist either by dragging or (as previously mentioned) by clicking the file for the menu (there is no menu). There is however a menu for playlists (Edit/Delete).

    EDIT:

    5) Files uploaded via web ui do not have their metadata displayed in the Playlist Builder.

/srv/airtime/stor is not reflected in the Playlist Builder.

    .....

    5) Files uploaded via web ui do not have their metadata displayed in the Playlist Builder.

I have the same trouble here, just 99 files in Playlist Builder, but in /srv/airtime/stor I have over 500 files
