RSS Feeds & Streaming
  • I am planning on using Airtime to automate a community radio station i work for, however there are a coupkle of things which are required which i cannot find out for sure that are tasks Airtime can complete for me.

Firstly, can airtime be configured to download shows through RSS feeds, without user intervention. If so can you direct me to or provide me with information on how that is done.

Secondly, can airtime be configured to automatically pick up a stream from a defined source? There are shows which are currently broadcast live for certain sources at times unfit for a human being to have to be awake for. Again, could you supply me with links or information.

Thank you in advance, I look forward to receiving responses to my questions.

Airtime cant do this at the moment, but hopefully when 2.0 comes out with a
REST API interface, someone would be able create something that does this.

This is a highly requested feature, we are planning it for version 2.1 at
    the moment.
