Airtime 1.8.2-RC5 issues
  • Hi all,

thanks for the latest RC5 release, it's mostly working on my Ubuntu 10.04.2 LTS 32-bit system, except that it's not streaming to Icecast. I have got butt connected without any trouble and airtime 1.8.1 could connect too. I do however have audio out of my soundcard though, which is great! sudo airtime-check-install reports no problems either.

Also, a separate issue: the filenames of the recorded shows in /var/tmp/airtime/show-recorder no longer contain the show name. Is this an intentional change?

Thirdly, a request from a user: adding a show monthly doesn't allow for the show to be scheduled on, for example, the first Friday of the month, but only allows it to be scheduled on the day (ie 10th) of the month. Would be great to have this option!

    thanks

    James

Regarding the icecast problem, do you see any mountpoints when you go to http://localhost:8000/

    ?

This is on purpose since the name of the show can be changed at any time.

No, there is no mount point for the airtime stream. I can see the mount point for the butt stream however. I've checked the source password and restarted the icecast server too.

    thanks
