For the radio stream I need audio processing, such as a software-based compressor / limiter...
Is that possible with AirTime?
And how can I set it up?
Airtime is great, but very loud compressed audio is important to us ... Smile

I see AirTime using Liquidsoap for encoding.
Liquidsoap with built-in sound processing is explained here:

Is it still possible or has Airtime a modified version of Liquidsoap?

Hi Jonathan,
The best solution for your needs will be using Reply Gain.

We want to add this into Airtime in the near future.

For the meanwhile you can look into the Wiki and this post
and read about Reply Gain specification

Keep us posted how you're coming along with it.

If you'd like, then you can play around with the liquidsoap script file to add replaygain yourself. Please see the file

/opt/pypo/bin/scripts/ls_script.liq

You will need to restart pypo

airtime-pypo-stop
airtime-pypo-start

Everytime you modify the script.
