Airtime Translators please
  • Hey everyone,

With the 2.4 release approaching, it's that time we need to update our translations.

You can find our current translations on Github
If you don't see your language there, you can start a new with the .po file under the 'template' directory.

For more information on how to translate Airtime, see here

    Thanks :)

  • Thanks @hoerich
  • Airtime translation for de_DE really needs a workover!
    #: airtime_mvc/application/services/CalendarService.php:50
    msgid "View Recorded File Metadata"
msgstr "Metadaten der aufgenommenen Datei sehen"
E.g. this is not proper german, should be something like "Metadaten der aufgenommenen Datei anzeigen"

  • Roman you're right.
I will review the German translation and merge all good or similar translations from the Austrian version.
Then we can compare both versions again.

    Good idea!
I just did the de_AT, because the de_DE-translation felt a bit too german... ;-)

Of course we need only one version, but in both there are still a few bugs.
My goal is to merge the best of both versions.

For a completely seamless fitting Web-End, we need to shorten some translations.

    e.g. buttons, form-labels, ...

These are the localizations still needing work (by % current completeness):

    Czech 96%
    Hungarian 96%
    Italian 87%
    Korean 91%
    Polish 96%
    Portuguese (Brazilian) 96%
    Russian 87%

All volunteers would be very welcome. Please ask me for assistance with
the localization workflow, if you need it.

If no portuguese translator shows up, I forward the last open sentences to my brazilian cousin for finishing.

And if Russian is also needed, I'd have a translator in background too.
But I think there are plenty of russian users out there for translating?!?!
