[campsite-support] add new user type

    Dear all,
    I just installed campsite
    plus the demoset 1

    - 1 - I am trying to work with campsite. I am found a problem wen
    adding a new user type. It just does not work
    I tried to add a user type called "freelance" and nothing happens. I looked at the table UserTypes and there is no colomns with freelance on it.

    - 2 - Is there a check list somewhere to validate if the installation is OK? I am a little dry on it

    Any Ideas?

    This should definitely work...check if you are able to change anything
    in your database, it could be a permission problem. You could try
    re-installing the demo, or try debugging the PHp if you know how to do
    that, or you could give us access to your server so we could debug it.
    I dont have many other ideas on this because it usually works, and
    its not giving you an error...

    Paul,
    every body, Hi!

    I checked the fact about a rigth access on mysql.
    I am not sure the problem is here. I did the
    following things.
    Uminstall campsite and mysql.
    Install mysql, phpmyadmin.
    Tested it works!
    There is only one user(paasword) for the database and
    mysql (root(mysql)).
    Tested creatind database, tables and data -> OK
    Installed campsite with default values plus the
    mysql(passwd). No demo this time
    Linked with apache the vhost file.
    Restarted every thing
    the admin(admn00) access works
    Added an user henri(henri11) works
    Logging as henri works!
    Added a publication : it works
    Added a user type : Freelance DONOT work
    Deleted Editor in user type works!

    At this point i am quite dry! It looks for me more as
    a bug than a privilege access in the database. I can
    create an user, a publication delete a user_type!
