Hi all,

I'm happy to announce that the second round of beta packages for the
Campcaster 1.4 "Monrovia" release are finally available and are up on our
repository. That's the good news.

The bad news is that they still don't work with Ubuntu Intrepid; they only
work with Hardy so far. I'm hoping to work with other team members to get
the problem solved (any volunteers?).

More good news, and probably the most important reason to check out this
second beta release is that thanks to Nebojsa Grujic, we now have at least
a preliminary fix for the bug where the scheduler would not play more than
one file in a scheduled playlist. Many thanks to Nebojsa for getting that
out.

There are a few other minor fixes in there too, mainly in making the
installation procedure run correctly.

To install the packages, you have to have Ubuntu Hardy (so far these won't
work on any other version) and add the following repository to your
sources.list (or Synaptic -> Repositories -> Third-Party Software):

http://code.campware.org/ubuntu hardy main

and then refresh your sources by either doing an 'apt-get update' or
clicking the 'Refresh' button in Synaptic.

We're really eager to get these packages tested, so please report any bugs
or strange behavior to us on the campcaster-support or campcaster-dev
mailing lists. You can also drop in to see if any of the Campcaster team
are hanging out on our IRC channel, #campcaster on irc.freenode.net.
