Re: [campcaster-support] Logging into Campcaster
  • Hi John,

    The default username is: admin
    The default password is: admn00

Also, with older hardware, it's probably a good idea to keep your
playlists at around 1hr max (but try some experiments to see what works
    best for you).

Please write back here with your experiences working on older hardware.
I'm quite keen on getting Campcaster working on a One Laptop Per Child XO
PC, which has roughly the same specs as you've described.

    Best regards,

    douglas

Hi, thanks so much to the team for making an awesome piece of software for
    linux.
I'm a real linux noob so please bare with me here.
We have managed to install it onto a crusty pII 4oo mhz machine. It loads
up fine from what I can see on the host machine.
The only problem is that I can't log in.
Is there a default user and password it uses for the install or does it
use the current user that is logging into the linux machine?
I tried to log in using the current user and password of the machine that
it was running on but kept returning "login failed".

I'm totally chomping at the bit to have a go but need to get into it
    first.
    Thanks muchly.
    John
