[campcaster-support] setting up top of the hour spots.
  • It here a way to set up top of the hr spots for each hr for a week or
month lets say and then have a play list of 200 songs and have it play
the songs randomly between the top of the hr spots?

  • Hi Warren, I don't know what's going on with your master panel problems - hopefully someone else on the list like Ferenc Gerlits will be able to take care of that - but I can answer the question about the top of the hour spots. Unfortunately, this is not something that Campcaster does yet. You can only schedule fixed, 'hand-made' playlists at a moment you choose by hand. You can, however, use the same playlists as often as you like, including on different days. We have come up with a proposal for how to do it, but we haven't found a way to pay the programmers to make it as of yet. Maybe this is something you could help us with - if enough users come forward with either funding or programmer commitments, we should be able to get this moving relatively soon. Hope this helps, douglas =============================================Media Development Loan Fund=============================================Douglas ArellanesHead of Research and DevelopmentCenter for Advanced Media--Prague (CAMP)Na vinicnich horach 24a/1834, 160 00 Prague 6Czech RepublicTel: + 420 2 3333 5356, Fax: +420 2 2431 5419Mobile: +420 724 073 364Skype and Yahoo IM: dougiegyrohttp://www.campware.org=============================================http://www.mdlf.org============================================= Warren Davis <warren@wyr963.com>Sent by: campcaster-support-bounces@netfinity-4.mdlf.org02/07/2008 10:21 PM PSTPlease respond to Support mailing list for the Campcaster software project To: campcaster-support@netfinity-4.mdlf.org cc: bcc: Subject: [campcaster-support] setting up top of the hour spots. • Hello.

This situation helps a lot. I Want to schedule information to pass for a few days (a promotion or other message) ex: for this weekend and after that to pass a suffled song.

Some one knows how to do it?

    Helps a lot.

    Regards

    Mike
