Need help for new Webstream with ListenKeys
  • I have StreamURLs in the following format:

    http://domain.com:80/directory?key

    - Airtime accepts them, even without a MIME error !
    - Once listed in the Airtime library, you can click their [webstream preview] icon, they work, you can hear them!
    - These stream links can also be played within Chrome, WinAmp, VLC without any problem.
    - From WinAmp they can also be streamed via edCast to a Shoutcast server and heard without a problem.

    However, when these streamURLs/keys reach [now playing] in Airtime, connected Icecast and Shoutcast servers go dead.
    I've tried all 4 Stream types. This only happens when the stream is initiated by Airtime. Edcast, on the other hand, can stream that same link to Airtime, and then indeed be heard through Ice-/Shoutcast.

    Sumamry:
    Above Link -> WinAmp -> Edcast -> Shoutcast -> Airtime -> Shoutcast = works!
    Above Link -> Airtime -> Shoutcast/Icecast = fails!

    Why?

    Logs show nothing about this, I don't think (see attached).
    The player just shows Artist: Airtime, Title: offline.

    ok, i see with the pictures ;-)

    if you want grab your stream with airtime you have to choices :

    create a webstream in the library

    or send your stream with eddcast, butt, etc. but with a login/pass (look at system>stream settings

    The stream IS indeed in the library (it's called test).

    If you look at my summary from above you can see using edcast worked, but that's not what we are after, we want to broadcast using Airtime (only).
