[campsite-support] Uploaded images not shown on website
  • Hi,

I've reinstalled a campsite instance on a server (running DirectAdmin).
Everything seems to work fine, only the images aren't shown. When people
upload the images from the backend, everything seems to work fine. The
website is located at http://www.nieuwsbedrijf.nl. Can someone point me
in the right direction to solve this problem?

    Regards,

    Jeroen

  • Sorry for the multiple copies of this message. I got an error from the
smtp server that the mail wasn't sent. Apparently that information was
    not true Smile

    Regards,

    Jeroen

  • hi Jeroen!

usually images arent display when it is about a permission issue on
the images directory, but it seems not to be your case. anyway you
may take a look of this and if it doesnt make the trick, please give
me access to the server (if possible) to check it out.

    Best,

  • Hi Holman,

Thanks for your offer. I think the permissions of the images folder are
set right, but there might be a problem with the cgi-bin. I believe the
image are shown through a cgi script. I have the server admin looking at
the settings regarding the cgi-bin. I he can't find the problem i'll
give you the proper settings to look into our system, ok?

    Regards,

    Jeroen

give me login data to access the server, please do it by a private

  • hi Jeroen!

i am glad to hear that. please, could you ask your sysadmin about the
solution and tell us what it was, it would be valuable to know that in
case another Campsite user has the same problem. we would include it
    in our knowledge database. thanks.

    best,
