Command line administration
We will built a REST API over the next 6 months or so and from there a command line interface should be pretty easy.

Emergency broadcast show for 2.0.0-beta2
You cannot overlap shows like that in Airtime, it is up to the Program Manager to make sure that shows do not overlap. If you do have overlapping shows, then weird stuff will happen, like you noticed. I'm impressed that it almost worked :).

Upgrade to airtime 1.9.5 from 1.8.2 stalled....
Hi James - Could you please send us your logs? Just do: sudo airtime-log -d and attach the file that it produces. Did you backup the database before the upgrade? I know this advice comes too late, but you never ever want to upgrade a live serve…

508 Compliant
Our templates right now have not been verified for 508 compliance either way. Since Newscoop uses a template language, the templates can tweaked to be compliant if they are not already.

Airtime Hacks?
Hi Sam - We welcome all code hacks :) We would love to see what you've built. We've heard of at least two ways that users would like stream rebroadcasting: 1) Scheduled/Preplanned. The stream is put into the schedule and given a begin…

Station ID / Clock Wheel for Broadcast & Auto DJ
@Rick said: Are there plans to have sub folders under the tracks listing on playlist builder? @Josh said: Currently there are not. This isn't correct, as we will have a way to tag audio files in the future.

A tips for the live broadcast feature
You would need some way to handle the dead air that would result from this approach because the DJ will not be able to login to input.harbor at the exact right moment. One solution might be to allow the user to schedule content during this time …

I've created a ticket here for this: http://dev.sourcefabric.org/browse/CC-3167 Please note that even if we found a problem and provided a fix to you, you would need to be able to upgrade to be able to get the benefits of that fix.

How to control airtime pypo cache?
@romeo: Not sure why that is happening for you, pypo is set to delete any files from the cache older than 24 hours. You can adjust this by changing the cache lifetime in the pypo config file and restarting pypo.

Hi James - Thanks for the feedback, we are working on tweaking it so you can select your hardware output type(ALSA, OSS, PortAudio, etc), which should hopefully fix this issue.

What version are you installing? The latest version is 1.9.5. The only way it could have installed under /var/www/ is if you were using version 1.9.1 or earlier.

Ah, that's something different. So the answer is no, changing metadata on disk through the interface has not been implemented for 2.0.0.

"Can we edit now metadata directly with the web interface?" It's been possible since the 1.6 release...click on the file in the library, choose "Edit Metadata".
