A lot of people find this confusing. There are two time zone settings - the actual station time is in 'admin' on the menu bar.

I now have 4 variants of mp3 codec encoding that wont work in icecast but do work in preview. Run all files through Audiacity -> stereo and they all work (LAME 3.9 128k 44.100 Stereo) every time.. Infuriating, time consuming and very expensive.…

Lots of sound file 2.4/5 issues which probably have a common cause.
This problem has not gone away. None of the suggested solutions above work. I just found a lot more mp3s that do not play through the schedule. Every one of these are encoded with FhG. They preview in Airtime plays ok. Scheduled playout looks ok in…

You can pace processes by idle time. Load balancing. This is what I am investigating. I can envision a daemon chewing through next weeks video, in slow times in background, this week or even dedicating one cpu core to it.
