In my case a track can be 2 hours long. Tunein decides after 15 mins that I am off the air. So that doesnt work for me either. You could change my script to only send if it has has changed since last poll. Two lines.

Airtime in ubuntu 14.04 installed properly but not working
The install docs say use Ubuntu 12.04LTS. This is one of the reasons. The Apache webserver config is different for 14.04 to you will have to set it up manualy (not difficult at all) Google apache virtual server setup ubuntu 14.04

Yes. It does that. I change that message in the panel to 'Musical Interlude' You can pick up the song etc from Icecast
