Which install method did you use? I found that it takes some finesse to get it working with Precise. Trusty isn't officially supported just yet so maybe give 12.04 a whirl and see if it works in the meantime.

Why'd you switch to port 8080 rather than using the default of 80? That probably has something to do with it... :) Edit: Move your website to a different server!
