Hi Fabio, You're almost there.. once you edit that file, you need to copy it to /opt/pypo/bin/scripts and restart liquidsoap.

Ed, This is the first time I've heard about this problem. What happens if you do sudo apt-get purge php-pear sudo apt-get install php-pear and then try those two pear commands again?

I think we should add a choice to enable this feature. Maybe for some people, preserving the dynamic range is important, but for others they care more about having each song at the same volume (mp3's and webstreams are compressed already anyway…
