What about Gravatar.com service? Easy to maintain for authors, easy to insert in template or article. The best solution if gravator will be supported by future author management module.

Looks like images/css/javascript are not accessible on your hosting. You should try to load files (css, js, img) directly (look at login page source) and see the server error.

Usually the campsite installation has no problem on shared hosting. Looks like your hosting plan doesn't support exec or system functions. In this case you need to choose another plan with exec function support.

hi Jacob, you need to open for edit file /etc/apache2/conf.d/javascript-common.conf and rename alias /javascript to any another name. After just run "sudo service apache2 reload"

hi Jim, you should: 1. rename template package to backup.tar.gz (or backup-whatever.tar.gz) 2. place renamed package into backup folder (look at campsite root folder) 3. restore backup file via admin UI: Actions->Backup/Restore
